Valerie holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design from the esteemed Savannah College of Art & Design. Commencing her professional journey, she joined one of Washington DC's premier African American design firms, specializing in Interior Architecture and Space Planning. During her tenure, Valerie contributed to projects spanning government and private sectors, amassing over 20 years of invaluable experience in space planning and proficiency in AutoCAD.

Her expertise extends to working with Archibus, where she has consistently maintained a thorough grasp of corporate standards, relevant codes, and industry trends. Additionally, she has served as an IWMS Space Planning Management Advisor, aiding government entities in change management and communication strategies concerning space and occupancy planning.

Valerie's repertoire includes ventures in Higher Education, collaborating on diverse projects within Facilities management. Combining technical prowess with creative flair, she honed her skills at the Rhode Island School of Design, mastering Graphic Design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

Outside her professional endeavors, Valerie indulges in the recreation of unique art pieces, showcasing her passion for creativity and innovation.
